Development Alternatives (DA) |

It is a non-profit organization engaged in research and action for sustainable development. The activities of Development Alternatives Group broadly cover the three primary areas that underlie any form of sustainable development process: the design and large-scale dissemination of appropriate technologies, environmental management systems and effective people-oriented institutions and policies.
USAID ECO-III project has identified twelve Non-Profit organizations (NPOs) and as a partner organization, Development Alternatives is a recipient of E Source Technology Atlas Series.
A brainstorming on Regional Centres for Energy Efficiency Workshop Organization by
USAID/India was facilitated by Development Alternatives. Development Alternatives has served on the Evaluation Committee established by USAID under ECO-III project to help establish Regional Energy Efficiency Centers in India.

Electric Lamp and Components Manufacturer’s Association (ELCOMA), New Delhi |

Electric Lamp and Component Manufacturers Association of India" (ELCOMA), represents the entire lighting industry. The main purpose founding members had in mind was to establish liaison with government bodies and to support each other in matters connected with lighting industry.

IIEC’s mission is to create enabling mechanisms and institutions worldwide for toward efficient and sustainable use of resources, including energy, water, materials, and the environment.

Indian Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) |
| |
Organizing successful international and national exhibitions is one of the major activities ISHRAE undertakes to fulfill its primary objective of furthering the arts and sciences of heating, refrigerating and air-conditioning.
USAID ECO-III project has identified twelve Non-Profit organizations (NPOs) and as a partner organization, ISHRAE is a recipient of E Source Technology Atlas Series. ECO-III is working very closely with ISHRAE and BEE in refining the weather data files for Indian Cities that are used for building energy simulation.

National Productivity Council (NPC), Delhi and Ahmedabad |

NPC is a national level organization to promote productivity culture in India. NPC provides training, consultancy and undertaking research in the area of productivity.
The ECO-III project is seeking NPC’s assistance in the state of Gujarat for developing Energy Conservation Action Plan (ECAP) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) activities.

The Energy Research Institute (TERI) |

The strength of the Institute lies in not only identifying and articulating intellectual challenges straddling a number of disciplines of knowledge but also in mounting research, training and demonstration projects leading to development of specific problem-based advanced technologies that help carry benefits to society at large.
USAID ECO-III project has identified twelve Non-Profit organizations (NPOs) and as a partner organization, TERI is a recipient of E Source Technology Atlas Series. ECO-III works very closely with TERI through exchange of ideas in creating an implementation framework for ECBC. To create Baseline Energy Consumption Data in commercial buildings ECO-III and TERI are working together. |

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad |
| |
IIM’s objective is to collaborate with other institutions in India and abroad with a view to further professionalizing management education and assisting in institution building; in a meaningful manner. The Public Systems Group of the Institute conducts comprehensive research in the fields of energy, infrastructure, environment and natural resources. IIMA has done considerable work on energy and environment modeling and policy analysis.
The ECO-III Project is working in collaboration with IIM Ahmedabad to prepare (a) a report quantifying the DSM potential in Gujarat (b) Case study (for management students) on green buildings (c) Energy Efficiency retrofits in IIM campus through energy performance contracting (d) Deliver guest lecture at Carbon financing Course offered by IIMA. |
