Aalok Deshmukh of International Resources Group heads the USAID funded bilateral ECO-III project. Under the project, he works as a Technical Advisor to the Bureau of Energy Efficiency and to the Government of Gujarat. Prior to joining ECO-III, Aalok worked with Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) for four years. He has a Master’s degree in Building Science from Arizona State University, Tempe, USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Academy of Architecture, Mumbai. (more…)

Dr. Satish Kumar headed the USAID funded bilateral ECO-III project (www.eco3.org), from the start (October 2006) until December 2010. In January 2011, Dr. Kumar joined Schneider Electric where he is the Vice President, Energy Management Services and leads a team responsible for offering a range of professional services (advisory and assessment to design, development, and execution of energy management solutions leading to improved energy efficiency, safety, and reliability) for large clients in the Industry, Buildings, and the IT sector. In his role as the Energy Efficiency Ambassador of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., he leads the Energy Efficiency Influence Team and frequently speaks at international and national conferences and has been featured in several newspapers and leading magazines on topics related to technology and innovation, energy efficiency policy, smart grid and cities, electrical vehicles, green manufacturing, skills development and access to energy. Ravi Kapoor has been working with USAID ECO-III Project since May 2007. The Project is being implemented by International Resources Group (IRG) in association with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE). He specializes in Energy Efficiency. Before joining ECO-III Project he was actively involved in the management and monitoring of several energy programs supported by the Government of India (GoI) and International Development Agencies such as USAID, DANIDA, GTZ, EU and UNDP. She has extensive background in staff supervision and office management as well as organizing and administering training programs.As a former Office Manager and Logistics & Training Coordinator of the USAID-funded SARI/E Program implemented by the Academy of Educational Development (AED), Nims organized and managed training programs in the South Asian countries comprising Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Sanyogita Manu is the Building Energy Efficiency Lead at the IRG-USAID ECO-III Project. She is a graduate from CEPT University, Ahmedabad and has completed her Masters in Interior Architecture and Design with specialization in Energy and Sustainability. She has worked as a Research Associate and Design consultant for many projects with CEPT. She has also taught design and history courses as a Visiting Faculty member. (more…)

GreenTree (www.greentree-india.com) is a consultancy company working in various verticals of Energy Efficiency Field like Energy Services (Energy Efficiency Advisory Services, Energy & Solar Simulation & Analysis , LEED/GRIHA/ECBC certification/CFD analysis), State Energy Efficiency Policy Development and Action Plan, Measurement and Verification(M&V) Services, Energy Software Development, and Training & Capacity Building for Corporates/ Educational Institutions. She has an experience of 10 years in the field of administration and front desk. In the span of 10 years, she has handled front desk, assisted all the administrative matters in different companies, done tele-calling for ICICI Lombard insurance, assisted Human Resources Manager in McDonald’s head office, done survey and field work also for 2 years in AIIMS as a field executive under a project called “Effects of Pollution on human health in India”. Bibhash Das works as Energy Efficiency Research Associate for the IRG-USAID ECO-III Project. He is currently working on the development and looking after the day-to-day coordination of the ECOnirman (ECBC conformance check) tool, ECOnirman EPI Tool and ECObench (building energy performance benchmarking) tool. He is also involved with the Net Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) Program with particular focus on the evaluation of renewable energy technologies for on-site electricity generation and their integration into an NZEB.
