USAID ECO-III Project
Swati Lal has over 11 years of professional experience in diversified multi-faceted functional areas with core competency in coordination, execution and management of program activities; research and report writing; subcontracts/grants management; monitoring and evaluation; outreach; and program communication.
As a member of the ECO-III Team, Swati is providing programmatic and technical support in conception, development, coordination and implementation of the program strategies, work plans and outreach activities. She is currently involved in preparing the concept note and proposal for developing the Net Zero Energy Building Consortium and Strategy Roadmap for India. She is also coordinating various training, capacity building programs and awareness building activities under the ECO-III project.
Prior to joining ECO-III, Swati had worked with USAID ECO-Asia Clean Development and Climate Program and had been instrumental in successful accomplishment of many projects under the ECO-Asia Program in India. She was involved in conducting market assessment, surveys, research and data analysis related to various clean energy projects and had contributed in writing of technical/ dissemination reports, case studies, working papers etc. She had coordinated many national and regional events viz., advocacy/dissemination forums, workshops and roadshows during her term at ECO-Asia.
She was also associated with the UNDP project, “Enabling Activities for the Preparation of India’s Initial National Communication to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change”, where she handled cross-functional areas of project implementation and management including monitoring and maintenance of more than 130 subcontracts of multi-disciplinary teams ranging from autonomous national institutions, government ministries & departments, national research & development institutes, universities and NGOs.
Swati holds Masters Degree in Economics and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, and in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management.
